Our Story
Kira Secondary School is located on Kira Road, Plot 188, Block 10. Founded in 1895 by the Church Missionary Society, the school is part of Uganda's long educational heritage and continues to serve families with purpose and care.
As a Church of Uganda-founded, co-educational, government-aided institution, Kira Secondary School welcomes learners from all faith backgrounds while maintaining a culture of respect, integrity, discipline, and service.
The school supports learning through O-Level and A-Level pathways, practical and technical subjects, classroom study, and guided academic activities. Sports, music, clubs, and leadership opportunities help learners build confidence, teamwork, and responsibility beyond lessons.
Families can keep up with school notices, events, news, and academic updates through the school's online information channels. This connection helps parents stay informed about learning and school life.
Knowledge opens the way to wisdom, understanding, and a brighter future.
